Day 1

Arrival | Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

When you touch down at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted with a warm smile from one of our staff clad in our company attire. He/she will help you with your luggage and escort you to our tour van. Once comfortably seated, you will head for Lake Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. The drive will take about 7 hours on the road (and about 1 hour using a domestic charter flight from Entebbe to Mbarara ). You will stop over at Equator mark and proceed to Mbarara where you will have lunch at Igongo Cultural Center, then head off to Bwindi on a 3 hour journey to Bwindi. You will overnight either at Buhoma Community Rest Camp, Engagi Lodge, Silverback Lodge, Or their equivalents.
Day 2

Gorilla Tracking

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast. Thereafter, go to the main gate to start your trail. Having been assigned a guide, you will head out into the forest searching for the famed and endangered Mounted Gorilla. This trek last about 3 – 5 hours. Having spent quality time with these gentle creatures of the forest, you will retreat at your lodge. Have Lunch and rest your legs. Should you desire, you can have an evening walk through the neighboring communities.
Day 3

Batwa Experience | Nature Walk to Falls

You will wake up to a heart warning and delicious breakfast at around 7:00am, then head out to meet a people Known as the “Keepers of the Forest” the enchanting Batwa pygmies, a hunter-gatherer tribe that has lived side-by-side with the wildlife of this ancient park for thousands of years. Observe how the women prepare, cook and serve a meal. Engage with medicine men and learn about the medicinal properties of the lush forest flora. Hear ancient legends and traditional songs. Enjoy a lively music performance, learn about the Batwa’s fascinating way of life; from religion to their food gathering and hunting techniques, and interact with the tribesmen. This is usually a full day’s experience. Wake up to a lazy breakfast at around 7:30 am thereafter set off for Ishasha Sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda an average drive time of about 2 hours. On your way to your lodge, take time seek the tree-climbing lions in the acacia trees along the road. You will overnight either at @The River Ishasha, Ishasha Jungle Lodge, Ishasha Wilderness camp, Or their equivalents.
Day 4

Transfer to Entebbe & Departure

After a hearty breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and head for Entebbe. Depending on the time of your departure, either you will be dropped at the airport in time to catch your flight Or we will help you find a suitable hotel to rest while you wait for your departure time. Available accommodations include Sunset hotel, The Boma Entebbe, Gately Inn Entebbe.
